VOK®-AP 498 is a wax emulsion that increases water repellency, slip and anti-stick in aqueous systems.
This additive is recommended for waterborne architectural coatings and printing inks.
Chemical composition: Paraffin-based non-ionic aqueous emulsion
Solvent: Water
Dosage: 1 - 3 % architectural coatings
5 - 10 % printing ink
Typical physical and chemical data: Non-volatile: 50 %
Melting point (wax): 55 °C
