Storage and transportation

Store and transport between 0 and 40 °C. Temperature sensitive emulsion. If the storage temperature is above or below the recommended range, it must be tested before use and, if necessary, re-emulsified at room temperature.

VOK®-DF 044 is recommended as a defoaming agent for abrasive materials to remove foam from aqueous pigment concentrates.

Suggested usage

0.05-0.5 % additive amount (purchase form) is based on the total formula.

0.2-2% additive amount (purchased form) is based on pigment concentrated pulp.

The above recommended dosage is for reference only, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing instruction

Due to high incompatibility, the antifoaming agent must be added at high shear forces to ensure good dispersion. Otherwise, the system may be flawed.
