VOK ®- DF 054 is recommended for defoaming of solvent-free and solvent based coatings, especially for solvent-free polyurethane resin and epoxy floor coatings.

It can prevent bubbles and pinholes. Due to the incompatibility of the additive, its influence on the transparency of the varnish must be tested when using it.

VOK ®- DF 054 is also suitable for defoaming of PVC plasticized sol coil coatings.

Adding method and processing guidance

In order to obtain good defoaming effect, defoamer should be added to the abrasive. If it is added later, the shear force must be high enough to ensure good dispersion of defoamer to prevent shrinkage.
