The flow meter is installed correctly on the pipe to ensure the straight pipe section and the installation position and the grounding to meet the requirements. As shown in the following figure:

If your meter transmitter size is big ,and need long battery life , then need install external battery and different size ,the external battery capacity is different. If the size is greater then DN600, then the internal battery life is short than 26 months, so suggest use external battery.
