The FLS F6.61 Hot-Tap Electromagnetic Flow Meter is an innovative, maintenance-free solution designed for accurate measurement of conductive homogeneous liquids—including contaminated fluids, slurries, and pastes—in high-pressure industrial and municipal applications. Its standout feature is the hot-tap installation design, which allows sensor insertion or removal without shutting down the pipeline, minimizing operational downtime. With no moving mechanical parts, it eliminates wear and reduces maintenance needs, ensuring long-term reliability even in harsh fluid conditions. It offers three flexible output options (frequency for FLS monitors, 4-20mA for long-distance/PLC connection, and user-configurable volume pulse output) to fit diverse system requirements. Equipped with a USB interface and free dedicated software (available on FLS’s website), it enables easy parameter setup (e.g., full-scale flow, alarm thresholds) via a PC. Compatible with a wide pipe size range (DN50/2” to DN900/36”) and installed via standard saddle clamps and isolation ball valves, it delivers exceptional versatility for large-scale fluid management systems.
