1. Product Description
The High Capacity Rotary Dryer for Wet Filter Cake is high-throughput drying equipment designed for continuous dehydration of wet filter cake generated from filter presses in mineral processing, chemical, metallurgical and wastewater treatment industries. Wet filter cake features high moisture, dense texture and tendency to agglomerate and stick to equipment surfaces. This dryer adopts enlarged thickened drum body, heavy-duty transmission assembly, customized anti-caking and anti-sticking lifting plates, high-efficiency heat exchange unit and intelligent control system. It can process large volumes of wet filter cake steadily, rapidly remove excess moisture and maintain stable discharge moisture indicators. Capable of 24-hour full-load continuous operation, it is the preferred drying equipment for large-scale filter cake reduction and resource recovery projects.
2. Working Principle
This high capacity rotary dryer for wet filter cake adopts countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous large-volume dehydration principle. Wet filter cake is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum by the feeding system. Specially designed anti-caking lifting plates repeatedly lift, tumble and break compact filter cake lumps to form an even material curtain, enabling sufficient heat contact between filter cake and hot air. Hot air flows counter to the material movement direction and evaporates surface and internal moisture of the wet filter cake. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding rate and heat supply to maintain stable drying performance. Exhaust gas and fine dust are captured and purified by the matched dust removal system to comply with environmental emission standards. Qualified dried filter cake is continuously conveyed to subsequent processing procedures such as recycling, building material production or harmless disposal.
