1. Product Description
The High Capacity Rotary Dryer for Kaolin Clay Drying is high-throughput drying equipment designed for dewatering wet kaolin clay raw materials in kaolin processing lines. Wet kaolin clay has high moisture content, fine particle size, strong viscosity and is prone to agglomeration and wall adhesion. This dryer adopts enlarged thickened wear-resistant drum body, heavy-duty transmission assembly, specially optimized anti-sticking lifting plates, high-efficiency heat exchange unit and intelligent control system. It can continuously process large volumes of wet kaolin clay, stably control the final moisture to meet standards for ceramic, paper coating, paint and filler industries, and support 24-hour full-load continuous operation. It is the preferred drying equipment for large-scale kaolin clay processing plants.
2. Working Principle
This high capacity rotary dryer for kaolin clay drying adopts countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous large-volume dehydration principle. Wet kaolin clay is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum by the feeding system. Specially designed anti-sticking lifting plates repeatedly lift, tumble and break clay agglomerates to form an even material curtain inside the cylinder, enabling sufficient heat contact between kaolin clay and hot air. Hot air flows counter to the material movement direction and evaporates surface and internal moisture of wet kaolin clay. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding rate and heat supply to maintain stable drying indicators. Exhaust gas and fine kaolin powder are captured and purified by the matched dust removal system to comply with environmental emission standards. Qualified dried kaolin clay is continuously conveyed to subsequent crushing, grading and packaging procedures.
