1. Product Description

The Rotary Drum Dryer for Phosphate Rock Processing is professional drying equipment designed for dewatering wet phosphate rock in phosphate mineral processing and phosphate fertilizer production lines. Wet phosphate rock contains certain moisture, has uneven particle gradation and slight abrasiveness. This rotary drum dryer adopts wear-resistant thickened drum body, reinforced heavy-duty transmission assembly, specially configured grading lifting plates, stable heat supply unit and intelligent monitoring module. It can continuously and steadily reduce the moisture of wet phosphate rock to meet the requirements of subsequent crushing, flotation and phosphoric acid production processes. It is essential supporting equipment for phosphate rock processing plants.

2. Working Principle

This rotary drum dryer for phosphate rock processing adopts countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous dehydration principle. Wet phosphate rock material is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum through the feeding system. The specially designed grading lifting plates repeatedly lift, tumble and disperse phosphate rock particles to form a uniform material curtain inside the cylinder, enabling sufficient heat exchange between phosphate rock and hot air. Hot air flows opposite to the material movement direction and evaporates surface and internal moisture of wet phosphate rock. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to maintain stable drying indicators. Exhaust gas and fine phosphate dust are collected and purified by the matched dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Dried phosphate rock is continuously discharged for subsequent crushing, beneficiation and chemical processing.
