1. Product Description
The Continuous Rotary Dryer for High Moisture Sawdust is continuous operation drying equipment designed specially for dewatering high-moisture sawdust raw materials in biomass processing plants. High moisture sawdust is fine, lightweight, prone to agglomeration and wall sticking. This dryer adopts specially developed dispersing lifting plates, optimized air duct layout and intelligent control module. It can run non-stop to steadily remove excess moisture from wet sawdust, maintain stable outlet moisture index, and is suitable for long-cycle continuous production of biomass pellet and briquette lines.
2. Working Principle
This continuous rotary dryer for high moisture sawdust applies countercurrent circulating heat exchange and uninterrupted continuous dehydration principle. Wet high-moisture sawdust is fed quantitatively and continuously into the rotary drum by feeding device. The dispersing lifting plates repeatedly lift and scatter sawdust to form thin and uniform material curtain inside the cylinder for full contact between sawdust and hot air. Hot air flows against the material moving direction and evaporates surface and internal moisture of sawdust. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to keep stable drying effect. Exhaust gas and fine sawdust dust are captured and purified by supporting dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Qualified dried sawdust is continuously conveyed to subsequent pelletizing or briquetting procedures.
