1. Product Description
The Industrial Rotary Dryer for Palm Kernel Shell Drying is professional drying equipment developed for continuous dehydration of palm kernel shell, a major by-product from palm oil extraction plants. Palm kernel shell features irregular particle shape, high initial moisture and certain abrasiveness. This rotary dryer adopts wear-resistant structure, specially designed lifting plates, stable heat supply system and intelligent monitoring module. It can steadily reduce the moisture of wet palm kernel shell with consistent discharging quality and run continuously for long cycles. It is essential supporting equipment for palm kernel shell recycling, biomass fuel and activated carbon production projects.
2. Working Principle
This rotary dryer for palm kernel shell adopts countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous dehydration principle. Wet palm kernel shell is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum through the feeding system. The customized lifting plates repeatedly lift, tumble and disperse palm kernel shell to form a uniform material curtain inside the cylinder, enabling sufficient heat exchange between palm kernel shell and hot air. Hot air flows opposite to the material movement direction and evaporates surface and internal moisture of the material. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to stabilize drying performance. Exhaust gas and fine dust are collected and purified by the matched dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Dried palm kernel shell is continuously discharged for subsequent boiler fuel, carbon material processing or deep utilization.
