1. Product Description

The Industrial Rotary Dryer for POME Sludge Processing is specialized drying equipment designed for continuous dewatering of POME sludge, the wastewater sludge generated from palm oil mill effluent treatment. POME sludge features high moisture, high viscosity, sticky texture and is easy to adhere to the cylinder wall. This rotary dryer adopts customized anti-sticking lifting plates, stable heat supply system and intelligent monitoring module. It can steadily reduce the moisture of wet POME sludge with consistent discharging quality and support long-cycle continuous operation. It is key supporting equipment for POME sludge recycling, biomass fuel and organic fertilizer production projects.

2. Working Principle

This rotary dryer for POME sludge adopts countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous dehydration principle. Wet POME sludge is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum through the feeding system. Specially designed anti-sticking lifting plates repeatedly lift, tumble and break up sticky sludge materials to form a uniform material curtain inside the cylinder, enabling sufficient heat exchange between POME sludge and hot air. Hot air flows opposite to the material movement direction and evaporates surface and internal moisture of the sludge. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to stabilize drying performance. Exhaust gas and fine sludge dust are collected and purified by the matched dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Dried POME sludge is continuously discharged for subsequent organic fertilizer processing, biomass fuel or other resource utilization.
