1. Product Description
The Large Capacity Biomass Rotary Dryer for Power Plant is a high-throughput drying equipment customized for biomass power stations to process bulk biomass fuels. It is suitable for drying wood chips, sawdust, straw, rice husk, palm kernel shell and other agroforestry raw materials for boiler combustion. Biomass fuel usually has high initial moisture, low bulk density and is easy to agglomerate. This dryer adopts enlarged thickened drum, heavy-duty transmission structure, special anti-blocking lifting plates and intelligent control system. It can run stably for 24 hours to continuously reduce the moisture of raw biomass, and guarantee qualified fuel feeding for power plant boilers. It is the core supporting equipment of biomass power generation projects.
2. Working Principle
This large capacity biomass rotary dryer adopts countercurrent circulating heat exchange and large-volume continuous dehydration principle. Wet biomass fuel is quantitatively and continuously sent into the rotary drum by feeding equipment. The special lifting plates repeatedly lift and disperse materials to form a uniform material curtain inside the cylinder, enabling sufficient heat exchange between biomass and hot air. Hot air flows opposite to the material movement direction and evaporates the internal and surface moisture of biomass. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to maintain stable drying index. Flue gas and fine biomass dust are treated by the matched dust removal system to meet power plant environmental emission standards. Dried biomass fuel is continuously conveyed to the boiler feeding system for combustion and power generation.
