1. Product Description
The Industrial EFB Rotary Dryer for Palm Oil Mill is specialized drying equipment designed for continuous moisture reduction of Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB), the primary residual biomass generated during palm oil production. EFB features long fibrous texture, high inherent moisture, and is prone to tangling, bridging and blockage inside the drum. This rotary dryer adopts customized anti-blocking lifting plates, stable heating system and intelligent monitoring module. It can steadily dehydrate wet EFB with consistent output quality and run continuously for long cycles. It is indispensable supporting equipment for palm oil mill waste recycling, biomass pellet manufacturing and biofuel production.
2. Working Principle
This EFB rotary dryer applies countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous dehydration principle. Wet empty fruit bunch is fed quantitatively and continuously into the rotary drum via feeding system. The specially designed anti-blocking lifting plates repeatedly lift, tumble and disperse the long-fiber EFB to form uniform material curtain, enabling full heat exchange between EFB and hot air. Hot air flows against the direction of material movement and evaporates surface and internal moisture of EFB. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to maintain stable drying performance. Exhaust gas and fine fiber dust are captured and purified by matched dust removal system to satisfy environmental emission standards. Dried EFB is continuously delivered for subsequent pelletizing, boiler combustion or further deep processing.
