Product Description
The ProFlow positive-displacement vane-type liquid flowmeter is suitable for the continuous measurement of oil-based liquids and is particularly well-suited for the accurate measurement of fuel consumption. The ProFlow flowmeter features a simple, robust, and durable design. With very few internal moving parts and virtually no friction, the flowmeter experiences minimal wear, ensuring a typically long service life. The ProFlow flowmeter has no mechanical seals, eliminating the need for regular maintenance and avoiding the risk of process fluid leakage into the environment. Driven by the process fluid itself, it is suitable for remote locations without a power supply. The flowmeter offers high accuracy (error as low as 0.2%, repeatability of 0.05%) and is unaffected by process pressure or temperature, mechanical stress in the piping, or fluid turbulence, thus requiring no straight pipe sections for installation.
The ProFlow flowmeter is available in connection sizes ranging from 15 mm to 50 mm, with a flow range from 50 L/min to 500 L/min. To record the measured liquid flow, the VAF ProFlow flowmeter can be equipped with a non-resettable counter and a pulse transmitter.
The ProFlow flowmeter is specifically designed to measure various hydrocarbon liquids, particularly medium- and heavy-grade fuel oils for internal combustion engines, lubricating oils, and many other oil-based liquids.
