Product Overview
Industrial liquid chlorine complete equipment integrates chlorine gas deep drying purification, multi-stage compression, low-temperature refrigeration liquefaction, liquid chlorine pressure storage and emergency safety protection subsystems, serving as core supporting equipment for chlor-alkali production plants and large-scale chemical synthesis enterprises. The device converts wet crude chlorine gas generated from ion membrane electrolysis into high-purity liquid chlorine products through drying, compression and cryogenic liquefaction processes. The whole set of equipment strictly follows international pressure vessel and hazardous chemical production safety standards, equipped with multi-layer safety interlock protection, leakage monitoring and emergency neutralization absorption devices. It can be matched with new chlor-alkali EPC projects or used for upgrading liquid chlorine workshop of existing alkali-chlorine factories, realizing safe, continuous and stable liquid chlorine product production and sealed storage.
Technical Principle
Crude chlorine gas from electrolyzer contains water vapor and trace impurities; it first passes through concentrated sulfuric acid multi-stage drying tower to remove moisture to ultra-low dew point, avoiding pipeline corrosion during compression. Dry chlorine gas is pressurized step-by-step through special anti-corrosion chlorine compressor and sent into plate heat exchanger liquefaction unit. Low-temperature refrigerant exchanges heat with pressurized chlorine gas under constant pressure, turning gaseous chlorine into liquid chlorine. Liquid chlorine flows into buffer tank to separate non-condensable impurity gas, then is delivered to horizontal pressure storage tank for sealed preservation. Overflow, overpressure and leakage detection signals are interlocked with emergency alkali absorption system; once abnormal condition occurs, liquid chlorine and residual chlorine gas are automatically sent to neutralization tank for harmless treatment.
