Gentamicin ELISA Kit provides a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Gentamicin in Plasma, Serum, milk, fish, shrimp, beef, chicken, pork and Tissue/Cell Culture Supernatant.Up to 96 tests or assaying about 42 samples in duplicate( assuming 12 wells for standards).

1.Sample Preparation |

Solution preparation (1) 10%NaCl（m/v）solution: dissolve 10g NaCl in 100mL of distilled water. (2) 20%sugar（m/v）solution: dissolve 20g sucrose in 100mL of distilled water. (3) Sample-Diluent:dilute one volume of 2X Sample-Diluent with one volume of distilled water. Meat（Fish,Shrimp,Beef,Chicken,Pork） 1. Homogenize a reasonable amount of sample with a suitable mixer. 2. Weigh out 0.5g of the homogenize sample into a suitable vial and mix thoroughly with 2.5mL of 10%NaCl, vigorously vortex for 3min. 3. Centrifuge it at 4,000 x g for 3 minutes. 4. Pipette 100μL of the supernatant and add 400μL of Sample-Diluent,vortex for 15 seconds 5. Use 50μL of the supernatant per well for the assay. Note: Dilution Factor :25 Milk/plasma/serum 1. High-fat sample should be defatted by centrifuging; 2. Pipette 0.5mL of the milk/plasma/serum sample and add 4.5mL of 10%NaCl, vortex for 3min 3. Centrifuge it at 4,000 x g for 3 minutes. 4. Pipette 100μL of the supernatant and add 900μL of Sample-Diluent,vortex for 15 seconds 5. Use 50μL per well for the assay. Note:Dilution Factor:100 Milk Powder 1. Weigh out 0.5g of the homogenize sample into a suitable vial and mix thoroughly with 2.5mL of 10%NaCl and 2.5mL of 20%sugar, vigorously vortex for 3min.. 2. Centrifuge it at 4,000 x g for 3 minutes; 3. Pipette100μL of the supernatant and add 400μL of Sample-Diluent,vortex for 15 seconds. 4. Use 50μL per well for the assay. Note: Dilution Factor:50 Tissue/Cell Culture Supernatant 1. Pipette 0.1mL of the homogenize sample into a tube and dilute with 0.9mL of distilled water. 2. Pipette 0.1mL of the solution from step1 and mix with 0.9mL of distilled water. 3. Pipette 0.25mL of the solution from step2 and add 0.75mL of 10%NaCl，vortex for 5s; 4. Pipette 0.1mL of the solution from step3 and dilute with 0.9mL of Sample-Diluent,vortex for 15 seconds. 5. Use 50μL per well for the assay. Note: Dilution Factor: 4000 |
