Performance Characteristics of Long Bar Forgings
Stable Mechanical Properties & Good Load-Bearing Capacity
After ≥3 times forging compaction, the metal density reaches 99.8%. Compared with machined round steel, tensile strength, impact energy and fatigue resistance are significantly improved. For 45# steel, tensile strength ≥550MPa and can reach 800MPa after quenching & tempering; impact energy Akv≥40J, and the forgings can withstand multiple cyclic loads, suitable for heavy-load and impact working conditions.
Integral Forging Without Splicing for High Structural Reliability
Integral forming without welds reduces hidden risks of weld cracking. It presents better torsional performance than welded parts, with torsional moment ≥2500N·m for φ100mm shafts. It helps improve equipment stability and extend service life, which is 2 to 3 times longer than castings.
Good Machinability & Optimized Comprehensive Processing Cost
Blank dimensional tolerance ±1mm, single-side machining allowance only 3-5mm (40% less than castings). Based on 45# steel, the material has excellent cutting performance, improving machining efficiency and reducing tool wear, cutting overall processing cost by 20%-30%.
Flexible Customization for Wide Range of Non-Standard Requirements
Production is not limited by fixed molds. We can customize long bars up to 8000mm in length, maximum diameter 1200mm and various special-shaped structures. Small-batch orders starting from 1 piece are acceptable, and the delivery cycle can be shortened by 30% to meet various non-standard long component demands.
