1. Product Introduction
A Log Washer Modular Plant is a pre-engineered, highly efficient washing system designed to scrub and clean heavily contaminated materials, such as gravel, crushed stone, ores, and stubborn clay-bound aggregates.
Unlike traditional static plants that require extensive on-site concrete foundations and lengthy installation times, the modular design integrates the log washer, structural chassis, discharge chutes, and electrical wiring into pre-assembled, skid-mounted, or containerized modules. This ensures rapid deployment, easy relocation, and seamless integration into existing processing lines.

Modular log washers are primarily used in industries where material cleanliness is critical for downstream processing or meeting strict commercial specifications.
Aggregates & Quarrying: Removing tough plastic clays, silt, and soft deleterious materials from natural gravel and crushed stone.
Mining & Ore Beneficiation: Liberating valuable minerals (e.g., iron ore, bauxite, manganese, copper, and gold ores) from sticky clay matrices before crushing or sorting.
Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste Recycling: Washing recycled concrete and demolition debris to produce clean, high-value recycled aggregates.
Environmental Remediation: Cleaning heavily contaminated soils and dredging materials.

4. Working Principle
The modular log washer relies on the principle of material-on-material attrition combined with a high-shear washing action.
Feeding: Contaminated material and water are continuously fed into the lower end of the inclined washing tub.
Scrubbing (Attrition): Two counter-rotating shafts equipped with heavy-duty, interlocking paddles rotate toward each other. The paddles aggressively chop, convey, and force the rocks to rub against one another, effectively scrubbing off stubborn clay and mud.
Washing & Separation: Fresh water is introduced from the bottom or spray bars. The intense washing action forces the liberated clays and fines into suspension.
Discharge: * Clean Product: The heavy, cleaned aggregate is pushed upward by the pitch of the paddles and discharged through the top chute.
Waste Slurry: The dirty water and dissolved clay overflow via a weir at the lower end of the tub, usually directed to a dewatering screen or water treatment system.
