Working Principle

The particulate impurities in the water are trapped inside the filter screen. With continuous circulation, more and more particles are trapped, and the filtration speed becomes slower and slower. The sewage at the inlet still keeps flowing in continuously, and the filter holes will become smaller and smaller, resulting in a pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet.

Backwashing Process

When the pressure difference reaches the set value, the differential pressure transmitter transmits an electrical signal to the controller. The controller starts the driving motor to drive the shaft to rotate through the transmission component. At the same time, the sewage outlet opens, and the impurities are discharged through the sewage outlet. After the filter screen is cleaned, the pressure difference drops to the minimum value, and the system returns to the initial filtration state, and the system operates normally. Among them, the filter element uses a high-strength wedge-shaped filter screen, which automatically cleans the filter element through differential pressure control and timing control. When the impurities in the filter accumulate on the surface of the filter element, causing the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet to increase to the set value, or when the timer reaches the preset time, the electric control box sends a signal to drive the backwashing mechanism. When the backwashing suction cup opening is directly opposite to the filter element inlet, the sewage valve opens. At this time, the system relieves pressure and drains water. A negative pressure area with a pressure lower than the water pressure outside the filter element appears inside the suction cup and the filter element, forcing part of the clean circulating water to flow from the outside of the filter element into the inside of the filter element. The impurity particles adsorbed on the inner wall of the filter element flow into the suction cup with the water and are discharged from the sewage valve. The specially designed filter screen creates a jet effect inside the filter element, and any impurities will be washed away from the smooth inner wall.
