The oil measuring tape (steel measuring tape) produced by Xiamen Jielian Instrument & Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. is a professional measuring tool specially designed for containers such as oil tankers and oil storage tanks. It complies with the national standard GB13236 - 2011 and is suitable for measuring the actual height and empty height of oil products, as well as the water level depth at the bottom of the container. Materials and Processes
Tape: You can choose SK - 85 carbon black steel (etching process) or 301 stainless steel. It is 13mm wide, corrosion - resistant and tensile - resistant.
Tape Holder: Made of 304 stainless steel, it is sturdy, rust - proof and has an anti - static design.
Weight: 400g brass or stainless steel (10cm), 600g brass or stainless steel (15cm). It has a fixed connection (the length cannot be adjusted) to ensure measurement stability.

It is available in various lengths from 5 meters to 30 meters to meet the needs of different scenarios (such as oil depots, oil tankers, and chemical storage tanks).
Accuracy and Safety
Standard tension calibration (20℃)
It comes with an anti - static rope and an electrostatic clip. Before operation, it is necessary to connect to the electrostatic conductor of the storage tank to avoid the risk of sparks.
Precautions for Use
Operation Specifications
Check if the tape is in good condition before use. Avoid twisting, folding or compressing it.
Slowly lower the tape when measuring to ensure it is vertical and stable. Roll it up immediately after reading.
It is recommended to use the original oil testing paste/water testing paste to improve the identification of the oil - water interface.
Maintenance
Wash and dry it after use and store it in a dry place to prevent the tape from rusting or deforming.
Calibrate it regularly. Check the accuracy after long - term exposure to a corrosive environment.
Application Scenarios
Oil Depot: Detect the oil level height and bottom water impurities in the storage tank.
Oil Tanker: Check the liquid level in the cargo oil tank before and after navigation.
Chemical Industry: Measure corrosive liquids (stainless steel version).
