Precautions for replacement: There is no need to recalibrate the temperature when replacing the electronic control box.
The button handle (TS 11213) is a safety part. Original genuine accessories must be used. Incorrect replacement may affect the safety of the equipment.
All maintenance work must be carried out by personnel with experience in intrinsically safe equipment.
It is strictly prohibited to open the instrument or carry out maintenance and replacement in dangerous areas. Steps summary: Disconnect the connection between the measuring tape and the sensor.
Remove the 2 screws of the battery box (TS 10189).
Remove the 4 screws of the display unit (TS 10210).
Disconnect the connector and remove the display unit.
Remove the 2 screws and the grounding wire of the measuring tape bracket.
