I. Product Overview

The PC-A6 3D Wind Integrated Weather Station is a self-developed product by Jinzhou Sunshine Meteorological Technology Co., Ltd. It features easy installation, high measurement accuracy and stable performance, perfectly integrating 3D ultrasonic anemometer with environmental monitoring technology.

In addition to simultaneously monitoring five basic environmental parameters—ambient temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, rainfall and solar radiation—it can also measure 3D ultrasonic wind direction and wind speed.

The 3D ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensor adopts advanced ultrasonic measurement technology. Its unique dual-support structure significantly reduces wind resistance interference and improves measurement accuracy. It can simultaneously measure horizontal and vertical wind directions, 3-axis wind speeds along the X/Y/Z axes (i.e., U, V, W vector outputs), acoustic temperature, speed of sound and other parameters.

Suitable for long-term, all-weather operation in various environments, it is widely used in urban environmental monitoring, wind energy assessment, meteorological observation, bridges and tunnels, navigation and shipping, aviation and airports, among other fields. As a portable integrated environmental monitor, it represents state-of-the-art technology in the industry.

II. Product Features & Characteristics

1.Protection class IP67, suitable for long-term outdoor use. The aluminum-magnesium alloy enclosure is impact-resistant and corrosion-proof, ensuring efficient operation even under severe weather conditions. It can work continuously in thunderstorms, snow, wind and frost without interruption.

2.Integrated structural design, compact and portable. The data logger and sensors adopt an integrated concept, with plug-and-play connection to the mounting bracket. With no moving parts, installation and disassembly are extremely simple, making it one of the most user-friendly integrated weather stations available.

3.Adopts advanced 3D wind measurement technology using ultrasonic 3D sensing for wind speed and direction. It features high accuracy, stable performance and maintenance-free operation. It can simultaneously measure horizontal and vertical wind directions, 3-axis wind speeds along X/Y/Z axes (U, V, W vector outputs), acoustic temperature, speed of sound and other parameters.

4.The 3D ultrasonic probe is supported by only two support rods, greatly reducing wind blockage interference and improving measurement accuracy.

5.Low power consumption and energy-saving design with internal power-saving mode. It can be powered by solar panels for long-term operation in off-grid areas, or by mains power / vehicle power supply.

6.Small size and light weight: the core unit weighs less than 4 kg, easy to carry and deploy. With high measurement accuracy and reliable stability, it fully complies with meteorological observation standards and supports handheld operation as required.

7.Customizable and expandable monitoring parameters. In addition to standard meteorological elements, the device can be extended to measure gases and particulate matter such as CO, NO₂, SO₂, O₃, TVOC, PM2.5 according to customer requirements.

8.Built-in large-capacity data memory, capable of storing hourly data continuously for more than one year. It can be extended with USB flash drive storage for virtually unlimited data logging.

9.Supports multiple communication methods: wired data transmission via standard interfaces such as RS232/RS485, and wireless transmission via optional GPRS or RJ45 modules. The data logger supports the standard Modbus protocol, enabling direct connection and data upload to backend servers.

10.Capable of measuring solar radiation at two different angles simultaneously, overcoming the limitation of conventional integrated weather stations that only measure single-angle radiation. Both pyranometers allow angle adjustment to meet multi-angle solar radiation observation requirements.

11.Flexible mounting options: the 3D wind integrated weather station can be installed on a portable bracket for mobile monitoring, or on a fixed bracket for long-term fixed-point observation.

12. Powerful System Management Software:The system management software can run on Windows XP and above. It monitors and displays real-time data from all channels, supports automatic printing and data logging when connected to a printer. Data is stored in standard formats such as EXCEL or PDF, and can generate data charts for use by other software applications.

13. Networked Base Station Deployment: The device supports networked multi-point deployment for distributed meteorological monitoring. Data sharing and viewing within a local area network are available via the Sunshine Cloud Platform. Remote monitoring from off-site locations can also be realized through wireless networks such as GSM/GPRS/CDMA.

III. Professional Wind Tunnel Calibration

The new multi-function wind tunnel introduced by Sunshine Meteorological Wind Tunnel Laboratory is the first high-precision instrument in China that integrates both low-wind anemometer calibration and air volume meter calibration functions. It solves technical challenges related to stability and uniformity in low-wind speed calibration, and can accurately calibrate wind speeds ranging from gentle breezes below 1 m/s up to strong winds exceeding 30 m/s. The comprehensive technical specifications of this new wind tunnel have reached an advanced domestic level.

All products are calibrated in the wind tunnel before delivery; only those passing calibration are released to the market, ensuring users receive high-quality, reliable and accurate instruments.

V. Structural Composition

The PC-A6 3D Wind Integrated Weather Station features a corrosion-resistant, plastic-sprayed metal enclosure, suitable for all-weather outdoor operation.
