I.Product Introduction

The TBQ-4-3(5/6) spectrally resolved radiometer can accurately measure the total solar radiation, as well as the solar radiation in the infrared, visible and ultraviolet spectral regions. It is generally used with various radiation recorders or DC potentiometers, and users can select and adjust the configuration according to their own requirements.

The solar spectrally resolved radiometer is capable of analyzing the solar spectrum to provide a series of important data related to solar radiation. By classifying the different wavelengths of solar radiation, the instrument provides information on solar radiation, enabling a better understanding of solar behavior and characteristics.

II.Measuring Principle

This instrument adopts the principle of photoelectric conversion. Its sensing element is a wire-wound electroplating multi-junction thermopile. The sensing surface is coated with a black coating of high absorptivity. A temperature difference potential is generated between the hot and cold junctions. Within the range of linear error, the output is proportional to the radiation intensity corresponding to the solar spectral band.

To reduce the influence of ambient temperature on the instrument’s performance, a temperature compensation circuit is provided. The inner cover of the instrument is made of quartz glass, and the outer cover is optical glass finished by precision cold processing. The double-layer hemispherical cover structure greatly reduces the influence of infrared radiation.

III.Product Features

  1.  By selecting spectrally resolved radiometers with different wavebands, real-time monitoring and analysis of total solar radiation, green light, near-infrared, ultraviolet, red-orange light, infrared, violet-blue light, visible light, and far-infrared radiation can be realized.Equipped with data collectors and microcomputer software, it can display spectral curve graphs, allowing users to master the composition of solar spectrum in real time.

3.Double-layer hemispherical glass cover structure, which greatly reduces the influence of infrared radiation on measurement data.

4.Detachable desiccant cartridge for easy replacement of desiccant to ensure internal dryness. The instrument is equipped with a built-in temperature compensation device to minimize the impact of ambient temperature on its performance.

Installation Requirements

The instrument should be installed in an open area free of obstructions. Ensure no obstacles with an elevation angle greater than 5° exist along the sunrise and sunset directions, and avoid any shadows falling on the sensing surface.

During installation, position the instrument plug facing north. Level the instrument first, then secure it firmly.
