The LS-5 8440-2178 is designed to simplify the management of multiple power sources in a power distribution system:
Fully Automatic Synchronization and Closing: Automatically detects the voltage, frequency, and phase at both ends of the circuit breaker, issuing a precise closing command when the synchronization point is reached.
Bidirectional Synchronization: Monitors synchronization between buses and between generator sets and the power grid.
Switching and Isolation Protection: Features voltage/frequency monitoring; when an abnormal mains power is detected, it quickly disconnects the control loop to protect downstream equipment.
Communication and Integration: Supports the CANopen protocol, enabling seamless connection with other Woodward controllers (such as the easYgen series) for load sharing and system logic control.
Flexible Configuration: Allows parameter setting via the front panel or PC software, supporting multiple voltage levels.
