EC-8SX Integrated Wind Speed and Direction Sensor
I. Product Overview
The EC-8SX Integrated Wind Speed and Direction Sensor ingeniously combines the wind speed sensor and wind direction sensor into a single unit, facilitating easier installation and portability while eliminating cumbersome on-site wiring and separate installation procedures. Crafted with a precision die-casting process using special molds, this wind speed and direction sensor boasts high structural strength, excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and waterproof performance. It also features light weight, low starting torque, and minimal inertia.
Widely applicable across diverse fields, it is suitable for wind speed measurement in construction machinery (such as cranes, crawler cranes, gantry cranes, tower cranes, etc.), railways, ports, docks, power plants, meteorology, cableways, environmental monitoring, greenhouses, aquaculture, air conditioning systems, energy-saving monitoring, agriculture, medical care, and clean rooms. The sensor outputs corresponding signals for further data utilization.O.
II.Measurement Principle
Wind Direction Sensor (Photoelectric Type)
The wind direction sensor employs a low-inertia light metal wind vane that responds to wind direction changes. As the wind vane rotates, it drives a coaxial code disc to turn. The code disc is encoded in Gray code and scanned by optoelectronic components, which output electrical signals corresponding to the actual wind direction.
Wind Speed Sensor (Photoelectric Type)
The wind speed sensor is equipped with low-inertia lightweight carbon fiber wind cups. When the wind cups rotate with the wind, they drive a coaxial slotted disc to spin. An electronic scanning system captures the rotation and outputs a pulse train. The pulse frequency corresponds to the number of rotations, enabling convenient data collection and processing.
