The SLM-300 vibration velocity sensor uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to convert vibration signals into electrical signals. It mainly consists of a magnetic circuit system, coil assembly, spring damping, and other components. Two coil assemblies are rigidly fixed in the sensor housing, while the magnets are suspended in the housing by springs. When the sensor operates within its working frequency range, the coils and magnets move relative to each other, causing the coils to cut through magnetic lines of force, generating an induced electromotive force (induced voltage) that is proportional to the vibration velocity of the housing.

When the SLM-300 vibration velocity sensor is in operation, the sensor is mounted on the machine. When the machine vibrates, within the sensor's operating frequency range, the relative motion between the coil and the magnet cuts the magnetic lines of force, generating an induced voltage in the coil. This voltage signal is proportional to the vibration velocity of the measured object. By integrating and amplifying this signal, a displacement signal can be obtained.
