I.Product Overview
The QA-1 Atmospheric Pressure Sensor is a professional device designed for atmospheric pressure measurement. It incorporates high-precision internal components and is equipped with surge protection and reverse polarity protection. Featuring an aesthetically pleasing, compact design, it enables easy installation and space-saving deployment. The sensor shall be installed inside a dedicated radiation-shielded ventilation hood, ensuring a relatively stable operating environment and unobstructed air exchange with the outside atmosphere. Compatible with a wide range of data loggers and transmitters, it delivers accurate atmospheric pressure data and is widely used in meteorology, environmental protection, agriculture, photovoltaic, power, transportation and other industries.
II.Sensor Principle
The pressure sensor operates on the piezoresistive principle, with its sensitive element connected to a Wheatstone bridge circuit. When no external pressure is applied to the sensitive element, the bridge remains in a balanced state. Once pressure is exerted on the sensor, the resistance of the sensitive element changes, causing the bridge to lose balance. When a constant current or voltage power supply is applied to the bridge, it outputs an electrical signal proportional to the applied pressure. The resistance variation of the sensor is then converted via A/D conversion and transmitted to the data logger, which subsequently sends the measurement results to the computer in an appropriate format.
