First question:
Should waterproof membrane manufacturers apply for EN13859-2 CE certification according to System 1 or System 3?
Answer: According to the description of Appendix ZA of the standard, when the product has added flame retardants or other flame retardant ingredients, it is necessary to apply for CE certification according to System 1/System 1, otherwise it is necessary to use System 3/ /System 3;
Second question:
Can I obtain both EN13859-1 and EN13859-2 CE certificates by doing one certification?
Answer: Although both EN 13859-1 and EN13859-2 are CE certifications for flexible waterproof sheets, the uses of the products specified in the coordinated standards are different, so one certificate cannot be issued at the same time. You can add a certificate fee and issue two certificates.

Answer: To apply for EN 13859-2 CE certificate, EN 13501-1 fire test is a must, and the fire test must be tested in a European public laboratory.

How should the factory apply for EN13859-2 CE certification? What documents are required?
Answer: For the EN 13859-2 CE certification application process, please refer to the following procedures:
1. Determine the type of product that needs to be certified and submit an application
2. Determine the European product directive. Decorative wall coverings must comply with the new EU Construction Products Regulation CPR 305/2011/EU
3. Determine the European harmonized standards. Decorative wall coverings must comply with the harmonized standard EN 15102
4. Test and evaluate according to the CPR directive and the harmonized standard EN 15102. The EU notified body conducts according to certification system 1 or system 3
5. Obtain the test report and certificate issued by the EU notified body (if the certification according to system 1 requires a factory inspection, the notified laboratory will conduct the test and certification according to system 3)
6. Issue the product performance declaration (Declaration of Performance)
