German technical background VOK®-SL 302 leveling agent
VOK®-SL 302 is a silicone surface additive for solvent-free, solventborne and waterborne coatings and printing inks with a medium reduction in surface tension and a moderate increase in slip.

Features and benefits
The additive reduces the surface tension of the coating system moderately. It improves slip while improving leveling and gloss. As a silicone additive prevents the formation of Benard vortices. VOK®-SL302 can improve the wettability and anti-blocking properties of the substrate.
Recommended Use
VOK®-SL 302 is particularly suitable for solvent-free systems or systems where specific solvents are required. It is suitable for all aqueous, solventborne and solvent-free systems.
Recommended dosage
0.025-0.2 % additive dosage (form of supply) is based on total formulation.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Addition method and processing guidance
The additive can be added at any stage of production, including post-adding.
For ease of addition, it can be pre-diluted.
Special reminder
Unlike ordinary silicone fluids, the additive is "user safe". However, before use, a series of tests should be carried out to confirm whether the additive is foam stabilizing, in addition to evaluating its recoating and crater tendencies.
