Features and benefits
The additive moderately reduces surface tension while improving slip, leveling and gloss. As a silicone additive prevents the formation of Benard vortices. VOK- 331 has improved substrate wetting and anti-blocking properties.
Recommended Use
VOK- 331 can be used in all aqueous, solventborne and solvent-free systems and is particularly recommended for automotive coatings, architectural coatings, wood coatings as well as printing inks and varnishes on paper. In two-component polyurethane systems, it can also be added to the hardener component.
Recommended dosage
0.025-0.2 % additive dosage (form of supply) is based on total formulation.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Addition method and processing guidance
The additive can be added at any stage of production, including post-adding. For ease of addition, it can be pre-diluted.
Special reminder
Unlike ordinary silicone fluids, the additive is "user safe". However, before use, a series of tests should be carried out to confirm whether the additive is foam stabilizing, in addition to evaluating its recoating and crater tendencies.
