German technical background VOK-336 leveling agent
Silicone additives to improve surface properties in all solventborne, solvent-free and waterborne coatings. VOK- 336 reduces surface tension and therefore provides better substrate wetting while increasing surface slip, improving anti-blocking properties, preventing Benard vorticulation, and improving leveling and gloss.
VOK- 336 is only used in the North American market, while other countries use VOK- 335 instead, only with solvent differences.
Chemical composition: Polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane copolymer solution
Solvent: propylene glycol methyl ether acetate/xylene 8/1
Dosage: 0.1-0.3 % of the total formulation amount
