VOK®-SL 300 is a silicone surface additive for solventborne systems with medium reduction of surface tension and moderate improvement of slip.

Features and benefits 

The additive reduces the surface tension of the coating system moderately. At the same time, it improves slippery, leveling and gloss. As a silicone additive prevents the formation of Benard vortices. VOK® -SL 300 can also improve substrate wettability and anti-blocking properties. 

Recommended Use 

VOK®-SL 300 has broad compatibility for all solventborne systems. 

Recommended dosage 

0.1-0.3 % additive dosage (form of supply) is based on total formulation. 

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests. 

Addition method and processing guidance 

The additive can be added at any stage of production, including post-adding. For ease of addition, it can be pre-diluted. 

Special reminder 

Unlike ordinary silicone fluids, the additive is "user safe". However, before use, a series of tests should be carried out to confirm whether the additive is foam stabilizing, in addition to evaluating its recoating and crater tendencies.
