What size pe pipe for natural gas

PE pipe for gas distribution applications range from NPS 1/2 (DN 15) diameter through NPS 24 (DN 600) diameter, but current regulations only allow PE up to NPS 12 (DN 300) nominal diameter. Typical pressure capabilities are up through 80 psig (550 kPa) for MDPE pipes and up through 125 psig (860 kPa) for HDPE pipes.
