How to size underground pe gas pipe

The minimum thickness of soil covering on the top of PE gas pipeline shall meet the following requirements:

(1) When buried under the roadway, it should not be less than 0.8m;

(2) When buried under non roadway, it should not be less than 0.6m; 

(3) When buried under paddy field, it should not be less than 0.8m

When effective protective measures are taken, the above provisions can be appropriately reduced.

How to join pe pipe and pvc

Stiffener Installation Guidelines When connecting PE pipe to the bell end of a ductile iron or PVC pipe, it is recommended that a stiffener be added to the ID of the pipe to insure a good connection between the seal in the bell and the pipe. Check the pipe for toe in. If it is severe, cut the pipe back to remove it.
