22 kV lattice towers are steel lattice structures welded together from rolled equal angles or even channel steel, the surface of which is protected by coating or hot dip galvanizing. The series ranges from 12 kN to 80 kN in vertex traction and from 12 to 24 m in height. The towers are fitted with the design of brackets required by our clients. This tower foundation occupied less coverage due to narrow base and widely used in Rural or some city regions. This tower is often classified or divided into subgroups of specific applications, i.e. support, tension, anchor, branch or underpass towers.
MEGATRO can design and fabricates this type 22KV lattice transmission tower for our European client and other client. Moreover, our main design engineer fromUSAand can use PLS software to optimize the design for client. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who assemble a face of every multi circuit tower section. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies.
After fabrication all 22KV towers are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
