1. Product Description

The Industrial Rotary Dryer for Biomass Processing Plant is professional drying equipment designed for dehydration of various biomass raw materials in biomass processing, energy and biofuel plants. Typical feedstocks include wood chips, sawdust, rice husk, straw, palm kernel shell, bagasse and other agricultural and forestry residues. Biomass materials feature loose texture, high natural moisture and easy adhesion. This rotary dryer adopts reasonable internal lifting plate structure, stable heat supply system and intelligent monitoring module. It can continuously and efficiently reduce the moisture content of wet biomass, maintain stable discharging index, and adapt to long-term continuous operation. It is key supporting equipment for biomass pellet, biofuel and biomass power projects.

2. Working Principle

This rotary dryer for biomass processing adopts gradient countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous dehydration principle. Wet biomass material is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum through the feeding system. Specially designed lifting plates continuously lift and disperse biomass materials to form a uniform material curtain inside the cylinder, enabling sufficient contact between biomass and hot air. Hot air flows countercurrently to the material movement direction and conducts heat exchange to evaporate surface and internal moisture of biomass. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air flow and outlet material moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to stabilize drying effect. Exhaust gas and fine biomass dust are collected and purified by the dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Dried qualified biomass material is continuously discharged for subsequent pelletizing, combustion or deep processing.
