1. Product Description
The High Capacity Rotary Drum Dryer for Wet Coal is a high-yield industrial drying equipment designed for mass dehydration of wet coal, including raw coal, fine coal and coal slime. Wet coal features high moisture, high viscosity and strong tendency to stick and agglomerate, which easily leads to blockage, low throughput and unstable product quality in ordinary drying equipment. This dryer adopts an enlarged heavy-duty drum structure, specially customized anti-sticking lifting plates, high-efficiency heat exchange assembly and intelligent monitoring system. It can continuously remove surface and internal moisture of bulk wet coal in a safe temperature range, ensuring consistent outlet moisture. Capable of 24-hour full-load stable operation, it is ideal for coal washing plants, thermal power plants and coal deep processing projects requiring large processing capacity.
2. Working Principle
This high capacity rotary drum dryer for wet coal adopts gradient countercurrent circulating heat exchange and anti-adhesion continuous dehydration principle. Wet coal is quantitatively and continuously conveyed into the heavy-duty rotary drum via the feeding system. The anti-sticking lifting plates repeatedly lift, overturn and scatter coal materials to prevent adhesion on the drum wall and form a uniform material curtain, enabling sufficient contact between coal particles and hot air. Stable hot air flows countercurrently inside the drum for progressive heat exchange, evaporating moisture gradually under controllable temperature to avoid coal spontaneous combustion. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and coal outlet moisture in real time, automatically adjusting feeding speed and heat supply to maintain stable drying performance. Exhaust gas and coal dust generated during drying are collected and processed by a sealed dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Qualified dry coal is continuously discharged after treatment for subsequent procedures.
