1. Product Description
The Rotary Drum Dryer for Lignite Coal Drying Plant is a specialized drying equipment designed for lignite dehydration and upgrading in coal processing facilities. Lignite features high inherent moisture, low calorific value and high volatile content, which brings high risk of spontaneous combustion during heating and drying. This rotary drum dryer adopts optimized low-temperature drying structure, specially designed anti-sticking lifting plates, heavy-duty rotary cylinder and safe intelligent monitoring system. It can steadily remove surface and internal moisture of lignite under controllable low-temperature conditions, improve the heat value of finished lignite, and adapt to long-term continuous operation of lignite drying production lines. It is essential supporting equipment for lignite upgrading, power fuel preparation and coal resource utilization projects.
2. Working Principle
This lignite dedicated rotary drum dryer adopts gradient countercurrent low-temperature circulating heat exchange and safe continuous dehydration principle. Wet lignite is quantitatively and continuously conveyed into the rotary drum through the feeding system. The anti-sticking lifting plates repeatedly lift, overturn and scatter lignite materials to prevent wall adhesion and caking, forming a uniform material curtain to enable full contact between lignite particles and hot air. Low-temperature hot air flows countercurrently inside the drum for gentle progressive heat exchange to evaporate moisture, strictly controlling the material temperature to avoid lignite spontaneous combustion and oxidation. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, exhaust gas composition and outlet lignite moisture in real time, automatically adjusting feeding speed and heat supply to maintain stable drying indicators. Exhaust gas and lignite dust generated in the process are collected and purified by a sealed dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Qualified dried lignite is continuously discharged for subsequent application.
