The automatic filter intercepts water‑borne contaminants with filter screens, removes suspended solids and particulate matter, cuts down water turbidity and purifies water quality. It restrains the buildup of scale, algae and pipeline corrosion so as to stabilize water quality and safeguard the normal‑operation of downstream equipment.Water flows into the automatic‑filter housing from the inlet. Supported by intelligent PLC and PAC control modules, the equipment detects contaminant accumulation and sends control signals for automatic drain‑valve sewage discharge.
Traditional screen‑type filters are widely adopted for raw‑water filtration and industrial circulating‑water systems owing to reliable filtering capacity, large throughput and low flow resistance. Nevertheless, they suffer from limited dirt‑holding capacity, frequent clogging and complicated cleaning. Disassembly is required for filter‑element maintenance, operating conditions cannot be monitored in real‑time, and manual‑operation interference brings troublesome later‑stage maintenance‑work.
The automatic self‑cleaning filter realizes raw‑water filtration as well as on‑screen automatic backwashing and sewage draining. Water‑supply remains continuous throughout the cleaning cycle. Compared with conventional filters, it features high‑level automation, large‑scale handling capacity, self‑driven flushing and non‑stop water supply with wide‑ranging applicability.
L‑shaped automatic self‑cleaning filter removes sediment for river‑water and irrigation well‑water and protects pipeline valves, meters and sprinkler nozzles. It serves circulating‑/non‑circulating cooling‑water, heat‑exchange units, central air‑conditioning, central heating and hot‑water boiler systems to guard coolers, heat exchangers, air‑conditioners and boilers.Besides, it acts as the pre‑protection filter for precision filters across construction, chemical, electric‑power, metallurgy, rubber, papermaking, textile, coal and food‑processing sectors.
