Product Spotlights

The MGLS vertical vacuum moisture separator accomplishes gas dehydration under negative‑pressure conditions through cyclone‑interception principle. It adapts to vacuum pressure ranging from ‑0.1 to 0 MPa, medium temperature 10‑100 °C and ambient‑temperature range 0‑60 °C. Q235 carbon‑steel and 304 stainless‑steel housings are available with flange pipeline connection.

The separator is mainly matched with vacuum‑dehydration systems in the paper‑making industry. During paper‑machine papermaking, gas‑liquid mixtures generated from wet‑end components including vacuum suction boxes, vacuum transfer rolls, vacuum presses and felt vacuum rolls are commonly discharged together by vacuum pumps. This separator realizes separate discharge of gas and liquid, which cuts down the vacuum‑pump power consumption for water drainage, extends pump service life and lowers environmental pollution.

It serves as a pre‑separation unit matched with liquid‑ring vacuum pumps or Nash‑type pumps. Gas‑liquid mixtures delivered from the wet‑end pass through the cyclone separation assembly. Gas is extracted by the vacuum pump while separated liquid is drained by the FPB‑type filtrate pump mounted at the separator bottom for recycling.

Gas enters the separator tangentially through the inlet. Inertial force drives the airflow to spin against the cylinder inner wall and generate centrifugal force. Built‑in flow‑deflecting plates guide the swirling airflow downward along the cylinder. Water droplets carried by the fluid are thrown onto the inner wall under centrifugal force and gravity, then flow down into the bottom water‑storage tank before being pumped‑out by the filtrate pump.

After swirling downwards, gas is drawn upward toward the top outlet under the negative‑pressure suction of the vacuum pump. Airflow velocity drops during the upward movement, so water vapour condenses into droplets and falls back into the water sump. A wire‑mesh mist eliminator can be installed at the top outlet for secondary droplet interception and coalescence.

Boasting an exclusive structural design, the separator features simple installation and maintenance plus stable operation. It belongs to energy‑saving and eco‑friendly processing equipment.
