Cast Pipe is an integrated tubular product formed by pouring molten metal. Centrifugal Cast Pipe is the mainstream high-end product in the market. By utilizing centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, Centrifugal Cast Pipe enables uniform crystallization of molten metal with dense microstructure and minimal defects such as pores and shrinkage cavities.Heat Resistant Cast Pipe is alloyed with chromium and nickel to adapt to continuous high-temperature working conditions. Wear Resistant Cast Pipe adopts optimized material hardness to resist erosion and abrasion. Different from hot-rolled and cold-drawn pipes, Centrifugal Cast Pipe can be manufactured with heavy wall thickness and special alloy grades. Heat Resistant Cast Pipe features outstanding thermal fatigue resistance and oxidation resistance. Wear Resistant Cast Pipe is widely used for powder and slurry transportation.All three types of pipes are integrally formed without welding seams, capable of withstanding complex conditions including high temperature, erosion and corrosion. They are indispensable special pipes for petrochemical, metallurgy, power plant and mining industries.

1. Product Classification

1.1 Classification by Casting Process

  1. Centrifugal Cast Pipe: Preferred process with excellent forming quality. Most Heat Resistant Cast Pipe and Wear Resistant Cast Pipe are produced by this technology, featuring uniform wall thickness and fewer internal defects.

  2. Sand Cast Pipe: Suitable for extra-large diameter and special-shaped pipe fittings, mainly applied in low-pressure general conditions.

1.2 Classification by Performance

  1. Heat Resistant Cast Pipe: Made of high-temperature resistant alloy, used for heating furnaces, reformers and radiant pipelines. Heat Resistant Cast Pipe is the first choice for industrial high-temperature equipment.

  2. Wear Resistant Cast Pipe: High chromium wear-resistant material for conveying coal powder, slag and ash. Wear Resistant Cast Pipe is widely adopted in powder transportation pipelines.

  3. General carbon Centrifugal Cast Pipe: For structural support and medium-low temperature fluid transportation with favorable cost performance.

1.3 Classification by Material

Carbon cast steel pipe, alloy cast steel pipe, high chromium wear-resistant cast iron, nickel-chromium heat-resistant alloy steel. High-end Centrifugal Cast Pipe is mostly made of multi-element alloy materials.

Domestic Grades

  • ZG45, LX345: General carbon Centrifugal Cast Pipe for structural parts and normal-temperature fluid pipelines.

  • ZG40Cr25Ni20, ZG3Cr24Ni7SiN: Popular material for Heat Resistant Cast Pipe, stably used under 800~1100℃. It is the preferred Heat Resistant Cast Pipe for reformer radiant tubes.

  • Cr26, Cr27 high chromium cast iron: Classic Wear Resistant Cast Pipe, excellent anti-erosion performance for coal powder transportation and slag discharge pipelines.

  • ZG42CrMo: Medium alloy Centrifugal Cast Pipe with balanced strength and toughness for heavy-duty mechanical pipelines.

5. Production Process Flow

Raw material batching & melting → Spectral composition test before pouring → Centrifugal casting (core procedure for Centrifugal Cast Pipe) → Cooling & demoulding → Heat treatment (annealing / normalizing; solution treatment required for Heat Resistant Cast Pipe) → Cutting & finishing → Grinding & cleaning → Dimensional inspection → NDT inspection → Finished product storage. Complete MTC certificate can be provided, supporting third-party inspection by SGS and BV. Random high-temperature performance test for Heat Resistant Cast Pipe, abrasion test optional for Wear Resistant Cast Pipe.
