Product Introduction
MAC’s entry into the hazardous location market began with the 200 Series. This valve is a direct-acting, high-flow lift valve. The 200 Series is available in a variety of sizes to suit many applications. With 30 years of proven performance, the 200 Series hazardous location valve is a time-tested solution and a testament to MAC’s quality and design excellence over the decades. Here, the 200 Series is shown actuating a 58 Series 3-way valve. The pilot valve function plate allows for greater flexibility in selecting different functions (three-way normally closed, three-way normally open, two-way normally closed, two-way normally open, pressure selector). The bonded spool with a wiper action and the glass-like finish of the orifices ensure the valve has a high margin of operating force.
