1. Product Overview

Pressure vessel steel plate is a special high-safety hot-rolled medium and heavy steel plate strictly manufactured for pressure-bearing special equipment. It features high strength, excellent toughness, fatigue resistance, impact resistance, outstanding weldability and stable performance under high temperature and high pressure. With extremely low internal impurities and high-level non-destructive testing, the plate avoids lamellar tearing and bursting risks. It is widely used in boilers, storage tanks, pressure vessels and chemical pressure-bearing equipment, serving as essential safety steel materials for energy, chemical and power industries.

2. Main Material Grades and Application Conditions

2.1 Chinese Standard Grades (GB/T 713)

  • Q245R: General grade for low temperature and low pressure, excellent toughness and weldability, suitable for ordinary storage tanks, atmospheric vessels and heat exchangers.

  • Q345R: Most widely used mainstream grade with balanced comprehensive performance, applied to boiler drums, gas storage tanks and chemical reactors.

  • Q370R: High-strength grade for high-pressure equipment, thick-wall pressure vessels and large storage tanks.

  • Q345R-Z35: Z-direction performance steel plate with anti-tearing property, specially used for thick plate welding and heavy-duty high-pressure equipment.

2.2 Low-temperature Resistant Grades

  • 09MnNiDR: Ultra-low temperature impact resistance at -70℃, suitable for LNG storage tanks and cryogenic chemical equipment.

2.3 High-temperature Resistant Alloy Grades

  • 15CrMoR / 12Cr1MoVR: High temperature and creep resistance, used for high-temperature boilers, steam equipment and petrochemical reactors.

2.4 International Standard Grades

  • European Standard: P265GH, P355NL, P355NH

  • American Standard: SA516Gr60/70, SA204GrB
