C276 Introduction
Super alloys or high performance alloys are available in a variety of shapes and contain elements in different combinations to obtain a specific result. These alloys are of three types that include iron-based, cobalt-based and nickel-based alloys. The ickel-based and cobalt-based super alloys are available as cast or wrought based alloys according to composition and application.
Super alloys have good oxidation and creep resistance and can be strengthened by precipitation hardening, solid-solution hardening and work hardening methods. They can also function under high mechanical stress and high temperatures and also in places that require high surface stability. HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.

C276 Fully Threaded Threaded Rods Introduction
The threaded rods is a mainstream detachable fastening connection component, consisting of a threaded rod with a head. It is often used in combination with nuts and washers, relying on the pre-tightening force of the thread to fix components. It is widely applied in industries such as pipeline flanges, pressure vessels, mechanical equipment, and steel structures. According to appearance, it can be classified into types such as external hexagon, internal hexagon, and countersunk. For high-pressure pipeline conditions, hexagonal high-strength bolts and full-threaded studs with matching nuts are mainly used; according to material, it can be divided into carbon steel and stainless steel. Carbon steel is divided into grades 4.8, 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9, with higher grades having stronger tensile and compressive properties. Alloy steel of grades 10.9 and 12.9 undergoes quenching and tempering heat treatment and is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure pipe fittings and pressure vessels; 304 and 316 stainless steel bolts are resistant to acid and alkali corrosion and are mostly used in pipelines with corrosive media in the chemical industry. The production process includes raw material cutting, forging/rolling forming, turning and fine processing, heat treatment, thread processing, surface anti-corrosion treatment, inspection and storage. The thread strictly follows national and American standards, and after processing, it is inspected through gauge inspection. The product surface can be blackened, galvanized, or coated with Teflon for rust prevention. It is not prone to rust and loosening for a long time. The bolt is convenient for disassembly and assembly, can be repeatedly disassembled for maintenance, and is more convenient for later maintenance and replacement compared to welding connections. It is an indispensable standard fastener for pipeline and equipment assembly.

1.Raw material inspection and cutting:
Select carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel round steel as raw materials. After entering the warehouse, the materials are inspected for their material type, outer diameter, and straightness. After verification is passed, the rods are cut to the specified length using a sawing machine, the cutting edges are smoothed, and the surface rough burrs are removed.
2. Rod straightening:
The rods after cutting are prone to bending. They are corrected by rolling with a straightening machine to correct the deformation and prevent subsequent processing of skewed threads and product scrapping.
3. End face chamfering:
Use a lathe to process the ends of the rods, perform inclined angle chamfering treatment, clean the burrs at the cutting edges, facilitate subsequent thread rolling processing, and make it convenient for later assembly of nuts.
4. Thread processing:
The industry commonly uses cold rolling process to process the threads, retaining metal fibers and enhancing product strength; for special large-sized workpieces, the teeth are made by turning, strictly following metric and imperial thread standards for production.
5. Heat treatment reinforcement:
Ordinary 4.8 grade carbon steel tooth rods do not require treatment; tooth rods with 8.8 or higher strength, alloy steel, undergo quenching and tempering processing, reaching the standard hardness and tensile strength; stainless steel only undergoes solution treatment.
6. Surface anti-corrosion:
According to the usage scenarios, carbon steel can be blackened, electro-galvanized, or hot-galvanized; high-strength tooth rods use the Dacromet process; stainless steel undergoes passivation and polishing treatment to avoid hydrogen embrittlement risks.
7. Quality inspection:
Use thread gauge sets to verify the thread shape, conduct random inspections of dimensions, hardness, and tensile strength, and check for surface defects such as cracks, bending, and incomplete plating. 8. Packaging and storage: Attach specifications and material labels, provide a factory certificate of conformity, and pack neatly before storing for future use.
