C276 Inroduction
Super alloys or high performance alloys are available in a variety of shapes and contain elements in different combinations to obtain a specific result. These alloys are of three types that include iron-based, cobalt-based and nickel-based alloys. The nickel-based and cobalt-based super alloys are available as cast or wrought based alloys according to composition and application.Super alloys have good oxidation and creep resistance and can be strengthened by precipitation hardening, solid-solution hardening and work hardening methods. They can also function under high mechanical stress and high temperatures and also in places that require high surface stability.
HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.
SQUARE HEAD PLUG INTRODUCTION
Threaded square-head plugs are a type of sealing plug. Their square head design makes them simple to operate with a wrench and suitable for applications such as sealing the ends of low-pressure pipelines. Sealing plugs work by physically blocking the passage of fluids or particles, achieving a sealed isolation of the enclosed space. Threaded sealing plugs tighten by engaging the external thread with the internal thread of the pipe or hole, relying on an interference fit between the threads or an end-face sealing ring to achieve a seal. This is the most common and traditional sealing method, suitable for applications requiring frequent disassembly and assembly.

Raw Material Cutting: Cut the selected material to a fixed length to obtain blank bar stock.
Square Head Upsetting: Use cold or hot upsetting processes to forge one end into a square head, replacing the hexagonal structure.
Lathe Rough and Finish Turning: Turn the outer diameter and end face of the workpiece, and machine the sealing conical surface or plane to ensure fitting accuracy.
4. Thread Rolling/External Threading: Select thread rolling or lathe threading according to specifications to machine the external threads for pipe connections.
5. Chamfering and Deburring: Chamfer the edges of the square head and both ends of the thread to remove all machining burrs.
6. Drilling (can be omitted if solid): For hollow plugs, drill a hole at the tail; skip this step for solid square head plugs.
7. Surface Treatment: Blackening, galvanizing, nickel plating, stainless steel passivation, and other rust and corrosion protection treatments.
8. Dimensional Inspection: Inspect the dimensions across the flats of the square head, thread accuracy, and appearance quality.9. Cleaning, rust prevention, packaging, and warehousing.
