Alloy 625 Introduction
Super alloys are also referred to as high performance alloys. They can function at high temperatures and mechanical stress, and are formed in different shapes. They are strengthened by work hardening, solid-solution hardening, and precipitation hardening.
There are three groups of alloys, namely cobalt-based, nickel-based, and iron-based super alloys.
Altemp 625™ is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy. It has an ability to withstand stress corrosion cracking and intergranular attack. The following sections with discuss about Altemp 625™ in detail.
Butt Welding Elbow Introduction
Stainless steel elbows are pipe fittings used to change the direction of pipes and are widely evaluated in various industrial fields. They are mainly made of stainless steel and have good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Common stainless steel elbows include models such as 304, 304L, 316, and 316L. These models of stainless steel elbows have different chemical compositions and performance characteristics and are suitable for different working environments. Stainless steel elbows have various connection methods, including direct welding, flange connection, hot melt connection, electrofusion connection, threaded connection and socket connection. According to the production process, stainless steel elbows are divided into welded elbows, stamped elbows, hot-pressed elbows, push-formed elbows, cast elbows, forged elbows, clamp elbows and other types. According to the angle classification, stainless steel elbows mainly have 45°, 90° and 180° common specifications, and there are also non-standard angle elbows such as 60° customized according to the project. [1] The manufacturing standards of stainless steel elbows also vary, including national standards, ship standards, electrical standards, water standards, American standards, German standards, Japanese standards, Russian standards and so on. The main advantage of stainless steel elbows is their enhanced impact resistance, which makes them widely used in corrosion-resistant environments such as chemical and papermaking industries. Furthermore,stainless steel elbows possess high strength and can withstand greater pressure and stress.

1. Raw Material Preparation:Select qualified steel pipes/round bars,inspect chemical composition & mechanical properties. 2.Cutting: Cut raw materials into fixed-length blanks by sawing/cutting machine.
3.Heating:Heat blanks to 900-110o°C in heating furnace for plastic forming.
4. Forming: Hot pushing: Push heated blanks via pushing machine to form elbow shape with mold. Hot forging:Forgeblanks intoelbow
roughshape by forging press.
5.Trimming: Remove flash,burrs and excess material from formed elbows.
6. Heat Treatment: Quench + temper to improve hardness,toughness and corosion resistance.
7. Machining: Process endfaces,inner/outer diameters to meet dimensional accuracy.

9.Inspection: Checkdimensions,appearance,non-destructive testing (UT,RT) and pressure test.
10. Packing & Storage: Pack qualified elbows and store in dry, ventilated warehouse.
