C276 Introduction
Super alloys or high performance alloys are available in a variety of shapes and contain elements in different combinations to obtain a specific result. These alloys are of three types that include iron-based, cobalt-based and nickel-based alloys. The ickel-based and cobalt-based super alloys are available as cast or wrought based alloys according to composition and application.
Super alloys have good oxidation and creep resistance and can be strengthened by precipitation hardening, solid-solution hardening and work hardening methods. They can also function under high mechanical stress and high temperatures and also in places that require high surface stability. HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.

C276 Forging Technology Butt Welding Latrolet Introduction
The forging technology butt welding Latrolet is a specially forged reinforcement pipe fitting for industrial high-pressure pipelines. It is manufactured in accordance with national pipe fitting manufacturing standards and is mainly used for 45° inclined branch connections in pipelines. It replaces the traditional welded opening and tee diversion structures, simplifying the pipeline construction process. The product is processed using an integral forging process. The base features a saddle-shaped arc structure, which can closely fit the outer wall of the main pipe, ensuring uniform stress distribution and a small fitting gap. Standard welding bevels are provided at both ends, suitable for on-site butt welding operations, resulting in a beautiful and reliable welded joint. The product can be made of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel. The internal structure of the forging is dense, free from defects such as air holes, slag inclusions, and cracks. It has excellent pressure resistance and impact resistance, capable of withstanding high-temperature and high-pressure working loads, and reducing the risks of pipeline welding cracking and medium leakage. Compared with conventional branch pipe connectors, it is compact in size and has a smaller fluid resistance, without disturbing the flow direction of the medium inside the pipeline. It offers excellent reinforcement effects and eliminates the need for additional reinforcement steel plates, significantly reducing construction costs. This pipe fitting is suitable for high-pressure pipeline projects in petrochemical, thermal power, and gas transmission industries. All products are subjected to dimensional verification and non-destructive testing before leaving the factory. They have stable welding performance and long-lasting sealing, and can be customized for various non-standard pipe diameters and bevel angles. It is a core component for adding pipeline branches.

1.Raw material verification and cutting: Select carbon steel, stainless steel and other special pipe rods for processing. Verify the material type and wall thickness, recheck the mechanical properties of the raw materials, and check for cracks and inclusions. Saw the materials according to the product specifications, reserve processing margins, ensure the regularity of the blank size, and prevent processing defects from the source.
2. Heating and forging: Send the blanks to the heating furnace for constant temperature heating to eliminate the hardness stress of the material. Use the die forging process to forge the bottom saddle surface and the 45° inclined branch pipe body. The overall forging ensures the continuity of metal fibers, the dense internal structure, and improves the pressure resistance and torsion resistance, preventing cracking under pressure.
3. Heat treatment and quenching: After forging, the workpiece undergoes normalizing and tempering treatments to release the residual stress generated during forging, refine the metal grains, optimize the material toughness, prevent deformation and brittle cracking of the pipe component under long-term high-pressure use, stabilize mechanical properties, and adapt to high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions.
4. Precision machining: Use CNC lathes for precise processing, adjust the arc of the saddle base, ensure a tight and seamless fit with the main pipe; process the welding bevels at the branch pipe ends, the inner and outer diameters, control the 45° angle accuracy, polish and remove burrs to ensure the welding alignment accuracy.
5. Surface treatment: Use the shot blasting process to remove the oxide scale and forging stains on the surface, perform passivation and rust prevention treatment, improve the appearance texture, avoid rusting during storage and service, and improve the subsequent welding fusion effect.
6. Finished product inspection and storage: Conduct size verification, non-destructive testing, pressure resistance sampling inspection, check for internal cracks and gas pores, check the angle and wall thickness compliance, engrave the specification marks after verification, and only after passing the inspection can it be packaged and shipped.
