Basic Information
TIBP Triisobutyl Phosphate, also known as TIBP additive, is a high-purity organic phosphate industrial auxiliary with a mainstream purity of 99%, appearing as a colorless transparent oily liquid. With stable chemical properties, low volatility, excellent acid and alkali resistance, and high temperature resistance, TIBP integrates defoaming, extraction, plasticizing and antistatic functions. It is highly compatible and widely used in building materials, coatings, inks, rare earth metallurgy and rubber & plastic processing. As a versatile chemical raw material, TIBP Triisobutyl Phosphate has become a mainstream special additive for defoaming and extraction in the industry.
Product Overview
1. As a branched-chain phosphate compound, TIBP Triisobutyl Phosphate has a more stable molecular structure than ordinary straight-chain phosphate esters, with better hydrolysis resistance and temperature resistance, delivering superior comprehensive performance.
2. It has two core applications. Firstly, it acts as an efficient defoamer for concrete admixtures, mortar, coatings and inks to eliminate fine bubbles rapidly. Secondly, it serves as an extraction solvent for rare earth hydrometallurgy to realize efficient separation and purification of rare metals.
3. In addition, TIBP can be used as a plasticizer and antistatic agent for rubber and plastics. It optimizes the processing performance of PVC, cellulose resin and synthetic rubber, improves the flexibility and antistatic property of finished products, and meets diverse industrial production needs.

Application Methods
1. Building material defoaming: Add 0.05%-0.2% of the total material mass into concrete, mortar and gypsum admixture systems and stir evenly to eliminate bubbles and improve construction quality.
2. Coatings and inks: Directly add and mix in ink, adhesive and water-based coating systems, adjust the dosage as required to suppress bubble generation and improve film smoothness.
3. Rare earth metallurgy: Used as an extraction solvent in hydrometallurgical processes to stabilize extraction efficiency and separation precision for rare earth purification.
4. Rubber and plastic processing: Mix in PVC and synthetic rubber according to formula proportion to realize plasticizing and antistatic effects, improving material processability and finished product quality.
