1. Product Introduction
Flat steel bar (also named flat iron) is a long rectangular section steel with rounded edges, one of the most widely used section steels. The standard dimensions: width 12–300mm, thickness 3–60mm, standard length 6m, 9m, 12m. We supply a complete range including Hot Rolled Flat Bar, Cold Drawn Flat Bar, Hot Dip Galvanized Flat Bar, Bright Flat Bar, Spring Flat Bar and Forged Flat Bar. All products are manufactured from high-quality steel billets, featuring stable mechanical properties, good weldability, bendability, machinability and stamping performance. They are essential materials for construction, machinery, electric power, chemical industry, hardware and transportation industries.

Main Materials & Mechanical Properties
- Q235B / A3 Carbon Steel: Yield strength ≥235MPa, Tensile strength 375–500MPa, Elongation ≥26%. Excellent ductility and weldability, cost-effective for general structures.
- Q345B / Q355B Low Alloy Steel: Higher strength and impact resistance, ideal for heavy-load steel structures.
- 20#, 45# Quality Carbon Steel: Uniform internal structure, good cutting and quenching performance for mechanical parts.
- 65Mn, 60Si2Mn Spring Steel: Superior elasticity and anti-fatigue property for springs and shock-absorbing parts.
- 201, 304, 316 Stainless Steel: Excellent acid resistance and corrosion resistance, suitable for coastal and chemical environments.

Hot Rolled Flat Bar
Produced by high temperature rolling at 1100–1200℃.
Tolerance: Width & thickness ±0.5~1.0mm, Straightness ≤3mm/m.
Surface: With uniform oxide scale, no cracks, scars or delamination.
Features: High toughness, good bending and bearing capacity.
Application: Building steel structures, handrails, stair treads, equipment bases, embedded parts.
Cold Drawn Flat Bar
Cold processed with high precision dies.
Tolerance: Thickness ≤±0.2mm, Width ≤±0.3mm, Straightness ≤1~2mm/m.
Surface: Smooth and oxide-free, surface roughness Ra ≤1.6μm.
Features: Ultra-high dimensional accuracy, no secondary processing needed.
Application: Precision machinery parts, key stock, machine tool guide rails, mold accessories.
Hot Dip Galvanized Flat Bar
Treated with hot dip galvanization. Zinc coating thickness ≥8μm, firm adhesion.
Features: Outstanding anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance, long service life outdoors.
Application: Power grounding, photovoltaic brackets, curtain wall projects, outdoor pipe supports.
Bright Flat Bar
Polished based on cold drawn flat bar, bright surface, used for decorative hardware and high-end precision parts.
Forged Flat Bar
High temperature forged, dense internal structure, superior compression and impact resistance for heavy-duty equipment.
Spring Flat Bar
Special spring steel material, stable elasticity and anti-fatigue performance for industrial springs and elastic components.
4. Specifications & Custom Service
- Standard sizes in stock: Width 12–300mm, Thickness 3–60mm, Length 6m/12m.
- Custom processing: Custom cutting, fixed length, chamfering, punching and bending. Non-standard sizes available according to drawings and samples.
- Mixed loading: Combine with angle steel, channel steel, H beam and steel pipes for one-stop procurement.
5. Quality Inspection
All products are strictly inspected. Straightness, dimension tolerance and surface quality comply with national standards. No cracks, distortion, burrs or severe rust. Galvanized products have complete and uniform zinc coating without missing plating.
6. Packaging, Delivery & Shipment
- Packaging: Firmly bundled with steel wires, corner protection available to avoid damage during transportation.
- Delivery time: 5-7 days. Fast delivery for stock orders, on-time delivery for customized products.
- Shipment: Suitable for truck, railway and sea transportation, can be loaded into standard containers.
