1. Product Overview
Round bar is a solid long steel product with a standard circular cross-section, one of the most widely used basic section steels. It is manufactured from high-quality steel billets through hot rolling, cold rolling, cold drawing and forging processes. Our products feature regular appearance, accurate dimensions and stable mechanical properties. The surface finishes include black surface, pickled surface, bright surface and galvanized surface.
We supply a complete range of round bars with full specifications and various materials. All products comply with domestic and international standards. The steel is easy to cut, bend, weld and reprocess. We have abundant stock and support non-standard customization, fixed-length cutting and surface treatment services. 2. Production Technology
- Hot Rolled Round Bar: The most popular type with cost-effective price and good toughness, ideal for general construction and ordinary mechanical processing.
- Cold Rolled & Cold Drawn Round Bar: Features tight dimensional tolerance, high straightness and smooth surface. Higher strength and hardness, suitable for precision machinery, shaft parts and high-grade fasteners.
- Precision Drawn Round Bar: Ultra-smooth surface and high precision, no need for secondary polishing, directly used for precision assembly parts.
- Forged Round Bar: Dense internal structure, excellent impact resistance and fatigue resistance, applied to heavy-duty equipment, large spindles and high-pressure components.
3. Main Materials & Standards
Carbon Structural Steel
Q235B, Q195, Q215, 20#, 45#, 35#. Comply with GB/T 700, GB/T 699. Equivalent international grades: S235JR, S275JR, ASTM A36, SS400. Good weldability and machinability, widely used for general structures and hardware parts.
Low Alloy High Strength Steel
Q355B/C/D/E. Excellent low temperature resistance and load-bearing capacity, used for heavy steel structures and engineering machinery components.
Alloy Structural Steel
40Cr, 35CrMo, 42CrMo, 60Si2Mn. High strength, wear resistance and fatigue resistance, for spindles, gears, springs and mold parts.
Stainless Steel
201, 304, 316L. Outstanding anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance, suitable for outdoor, marine, chemical and food machinery equipment.
